I actually told my husband I was going to leave yesterday because he bought a tree to plant in the backyard that I decided to hate. And I have rarely eaten any veggies this pregnancy, so don't feel bad at all!Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03777400850337711004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1666899662235808541.post-3909944918500835502010-05-29T14:45:55.109-04:002010-05-29T14:45:55.109-04:00I just want you to know that I did NOT eat fruits ...I just want you to know that I did NOT eat fruits and veggies every day. Some days I did great, many days I did not do great. And you know what, I was okay with that. I never ate as well as I should and I've been okay after almost 30 years. People in other countries with less access to fresh produce have healthy babies too. Of course you should try your best but you should not beat yourself up when you don't do as well as you'd hoped. Seriously. I know how easy it is to feel guilty, I have felt very guilty myself, but I had to let go of that because it was driving me crazy. Anyway, I hope you find a good balance and that you don't let diet stuff being the focal point of your pregnancy. Your baby will be fine.

Kait @ esperanzasays.wordpress.comKaithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00873914709073839450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1666899662235808541.post-54967519995763235262010-05-29T11:28:27.661-04:002010-05-29T11:28:27.661-04:00Ok, not to hate on your husband or anything, but i...Ok, not to hate on your husband or anything, but if Mo said word ONE to me about what I ate, I'd punch him in the face.

Ok, maybe not really, but metaphorically at least.

You need to STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP. Your "terrible" diet would be a GREAT day for me! You are pregnant, lady, and you should eat anything that sounds good (in moderation) without any guilt. It sounds to me like you are getting PLENTY of fruits/vegetables overall and are consciously trying to make good choices most of the time.

So, dear Tracey, I hearby give you permission to STOP TRYING TO BE PERFECT and just be. And enjoy those french fries, dammit! :-DJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00671922064140460790noreply@blogger.com
