Did somebody say FULL TERM?
Oh yeah!!! That's us. We're full term. She can come any day and that's perfectly fine. I really can't believe it. Today it's 10 days away from when she's scheduled to come. That means that she'll be here in ten days at most, could be even shorter. Woo hoo!
Had 3 appts today...you know the drill. Endocrinologist (thyroid and diabetes), specialist for the weekly NST and scan, and my regular OB. Everything looks good. I've made no progress since last week so that means I'm still just fingertip dilated, so I have a feeling she'll stay put until the 23rd.
How do I feel? Like a truck hit me. I literally can't walk. My legs don't work, my butt is killing me, and back pain came on again today in a terrible way. I'm pathetic. Right now as I write this, I'm sitting on a wood chair and I can barely stand to sit another minute because it hurts so bad. What is wrong with me? If anything you'd think my ass would have more padding right now!
Anyway, this weekend we will be getting the house in shape for my parents to come next weekend. They're planning on getting here next Sunday so we can all go to the hospital that Monday morning and have a baby. Yay!!!
Yowzer - 10 days!!! Wow thats just crazy! I think I had sympathy pains for you - everything hurt as I was reading your post. How exciting for the family to be coming. I am all choked up over this right now!

You have been such a great friend and I appreciate every single comment and post you have made. Too bad we never got to meet in our hometown....but perhaps it was wasn't meant to happen until now and under these circumstances. Life is so interesting that way. xoxoxoxoxox
That is so exciting that you have a 10 day countdown now! I cannot believe it's just around the corner. It seems like time flew by. I know what you mean about feeling like you can barely stand -- the end was really difficult for me, too. Hang in there, though -- you're less than 2 weeks away from cradling the bundle of joy that will make it all worth it! =)
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome that you have a set date for this little girl to come on out, so you don't have to sit around and wonder if it'll ever happen. Sorry pregnancy is kicking your butt. Just remember that it will all be over soon!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making it to full term. That is so exciting. I know how uncomfortable the last few weeks are. I was so ready to go by 37 weeks. Luckily my daughter came 11 days early, and thank goodness because she was already 9 pounds! I hope you're little one gets here when you want her to and doesn't leave you lying around in pain! Good luck!
