Seeing RED

9w3d

HELP! I'm spotting and it's bright red.
It's not a lot, but I don't know (obviously) if it will continue or get worse.
WHAT DO I DO?  Just wait around and see if it gets worse?  If it is the worst and I'm losing the baby, there's really nothing that can be done right? I have no idea what to do and I'm crazy scared.  I guess I'll monitor things or the next few hours, but what if it gets worse?  Do I call the doctor?  And if I do, WHICH DOCTOR?  My IF docs or my regular OB who I haven't officially seen as an OB patient yet.  Ugh.  I don't know what to do.

Please let this be OK.

  1. I am praying with you that everything is all right. If it doesn't go away, call your RE. They can bring you in to check things out. Don't wait -- although they can't do anything about it, sometimes some reassurance that your little guy is still hanging around is priceless. Do you really want to spend the next few days freaking out? Call them.

  2. I would rest, stay off your feet as long as you can. Monitor the situation and call your RE if your worried. It could just be a cyst on your cervix or something simple. One of my buddies in the TWW forum had that happen a few times and it ended up being just that.

I know it's hard not to panic, so if it's driving you crazy call the RE, they will reassure you or see you.

    Keep us posted please. xoxoxoxoxoxoxox

  4. I would call your doctor ASAP. There isn't anything they can do, but they can give you confirmation either way so you don't make yourself crazy. I am hopeful it will all be okay! There are many reasons this can happen. Praying for you!

  6. I would definitely call your RE since you aren't yet established with your OB. Keep your feet up and drink lots of water. Spotting is scary stuff! But, there are many harmless reasons it can happen. Sending lots of prayers.

  7. Tracey,

I can't imagine how scary this is for you right now!! I will say all the prayers I can that this is just a result of something minor that ends up being no big deal and isn't a sign of the unspeakable!! I am so sorry you have this fear to deal with right now.

    With lots of prayers,
    Priscilla
